He received his B.E. in Electronics & Communications Engineering from University of Roorkee; M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA. He has worked at Goddard Space Flight Center of NASA, MDL Information Systems and Sybase, USA, in leading research and research management positions
